Jessica Plattner (b. 1972) is an Oregon artist and educator whose narrative paintings reflect her love of art history and her interest in all kinds of stories: literary, cultural, and personal. Her work has been exhibited in the United States, Mexico, Canada, and Italy.  She received a BFA from Washington University in St. Louis and an MFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia.  She is currently Associate Professor of Art at Eastern Oregon University, and she divides her time between La Grande, Oregon and Medicine Hat, Alberta.
